Refund Policy

At Vokos, we offer a robust free tier ("Basic Hoarder") so that you can fully evaluate the capabilities of our AI Agent before committing to a paid subscription. Because you have the opportunity to test our core features for free, our refund policy for paid "Vokos Pro" subscriptions is strict.

1. Monthly Subscriptions

All Monthly Subscription payments are final and non-refundable.

If you subscribe to the Vokos Pro Monthly plan, you may cancel your subscription at any time. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access to all Pro features until that billing cycle concludes. We do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partial months of service.

2. Yearly Subscriptions

Yearly Subscriptions are eligible for a prorated refund based on the time used.

We understand that academic needs change. If you purchase an Annual subscription and decide Vokos is no longer right for you, you may request a partial refund. The refund will be calculated as follows:

Example: If the monthly rate is $7.99 and the yearly rate is $59.99, and you request a refund during your third month, we will deduct $23.97 (3 months x $7.99) from your $59.99 payment, resulting in a refund of $36.02.

3. Subscription Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through your Vokos workspace or by contacting our support team. Canceling your subscription stops all future recurring charges but does not automatically trigger a refund for past charges.

4. Account Termination Due to Violation of Terms

If your account is suspended or terminated by Vokos due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy (including, but not limited to, copyright infringement or abuse of the AI infrastructure), you will forfeit any right to a refund for your current billing period, regardless of whether you are on a monthly or yearly plan.

5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have an issue with a charge, we ask that you contact our support team first. We are reasonable people. However, if you file a fraudulent chargeback or dispute with your credit card company or bank, your Vokos account will be immediately permanently banned, and all associated cloud data will be purged.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a prorated refund for a Yearly subscription, please contact us at [Insert Your Support Email Address Here] from the email address associated with your Vokos account. Please allow 3-5 business days for your request to be processed. Once issued, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the funds to appear on your bank statement.
